Product Description
DJs can put in some long hours as they spin the tunes and they need equipment that is both comfortable and rugged enough to withstand heavy use. These Monoprice Pro Headphones are designed for the professional sound spinner and the casual listener that wants the best quality sound and best durability available. The earpieces on these 'phones are equipped with thick, comfortable padding that keeps the music inside and the noise outside. They swivel up to 90 degrees so they can double as a makeshift set of speakers. The headphones can extend up to 1.5-Inch on each side and are wide enough to fit over a cap, while maintaining good contact over the ears. The headpiece is also padded on the inside and is made of flexible rubber, ensuring that it won't break. The headsets do not have a fixed wire. Instead, there is a 3.5 mm jack in the bottom of the left earpiece, which allows a standard 3.5 mm audio patch cable to be inserted. This means that if you break a wire, you don't have to throw away the headphones or make a messy repair; just get a new cable and you're ready to rock again! The 50 mm drivers and 100 dB sensitivity ensure that these 'phones produce good volume and premium sound clarity at all frequencies. The kit comes with two 3.5 mm male-to-male, gold-plated audio cables and a 3.5 mm to 1/4-Inch gold-plated adapter plug. The thicker cable is over 11.5 ft. long and is well suited for professional work and for laying back on your couch to enjoy the tunes. A thinner, lightweight cable is also included, which measures about 50-Inch in length and is better suited for more portable operations. High-quality sound, supreme durability, and maximum comfort. These ARE the 'phones you've been looking for! Frequency Response - 20 Hz ~ 20 kHz

My first impression of the headphones, was that they were quite flexible, yet sturdily built. This isn't a pair of headphones that is going to go bad in a few months unless you're really careless with it, and even then, it feels like it can take a beating. However, do note that the entire headphones are plastic (albeit strong), aside from the pads at the top and the ear cushions. For $25-ish average, build quality is outstanding. That being said, I did purchase a replacement ear cushion set because of reports that the stock cushions could get a bit uncomfortable. The answer? It's true. I HIGHLY recommend buying replacement cushions if you are going to have the headphones on for about an hour or more. I kept the stock cushions on until I felt the fatigue from my ears (after around 3 hours). After changing them, there was noticeably much less stress on my ears and I felt quite comfortable with them on. But, no matter what, your head may get tired from the headphones after many hours, because the headphones has a gentle, but firm grip onto your head and gently pushes inwards. It's up to you whether that is a deal-breaker, but simply resting my ears for a couple minutes does me fine after hours of use.
I'm a bass addict, so when looking for a pair of headphones to buy, I did my research, and boy did it deliver. Bass is top-notch, and only gets better when utilizing various equalizers in order to maximize the type of sound you want to hear. However, if there's any aspect of the sound that wasn't top-notch, it would be the mids and highs. They were good enough for my usage, but they didn't stand out as anything quite amazing. You may have to use eq boosts in order to get the right sound, but in the end it's very much worth it.
I've covered the important parts of the headphones so I'll just state why I decided to get this one instead of another similarly priced headphone. The detachable cable is one of the biggest selling point for me, as I've struggled in the past with headphones that eventually die due to wires shorting out or not giving the right connection in some way. Now, I'll be able to replace the cable any time I like, with even longer ones if needed. It's perfect for a long-lasting pair of headphones, and I strongly suggest you consider the price value in that alone. This can potentially save you 90% of the cost of a new headphone for years once you treat it right.
So in closing, keep it clean and keep it safe and you'll have one of the longest lasting, highest quality, cheapest and most reliable pair of headphones for years at this price. Definitely recommend for anyone wishing to get a good pair of headphones without spending much.

Sound wise no complains, for the price there was a good bass, treble and highs. But will not recommend for long term use.
Few months in still no issues
