We combined their know-how with your wipes wish list to build a fantastic baby wipe through development efforts, multiple prototypes, lab tests, and home testing by parents. The result is a baby wipe that's truly designed for you—it's soft enough for a newborn, but sturdy enough to get the job done.
Where It's From
Purified Water
Pharmaceutical-grade purified water makes up at least 98.3% of the liquid found in Amazon Elements Baby Wipes. The process starts with drinking water from the underground White Lick Creek Aquifer in Mooresville, Indiana. After the water is collected, it's purified in several stages—sedimentation, charcoal filtration, deionization, and ultraviolet disinfection. The end result? A wipe that's safe and gentle on a baby's sensitive skin.
Aloe
The aloe for Amazon Elements Baby Wipes is grown in the sunny city of Melbourne on Florida's Atlantic coast. The company produces a variety of aloe extracts, powders, gels, and more—along with a little organic shea butter on the side. The aloe is harvested every six to eight weeks, by hand-selecting fresh leaves from the base of each plant. It's then processed within two hours to ensure its active molecules don't begin to break down, which helps preserve aloe's ability to moisturize.

Amazon Elements Baby Wipes are made in Mooresville, Indiana by the wet-wipe experts at Nice-Pak Products, Inc.—a family-owned company since their founding in 1957. The baby wipes are produced in a zero-landfill plant: waste is recycled, and the remainder is converted to steam heat. The recyclable lid on the flip-top pack can go straight to the recycling bin—helping Nice-Pak reduce plastic use by 36% per year compared to their previous lid. We're proud to have teamed up with them to deliver your wipes.

Similar to Original Earth's Best and Good EWG Skin Deep Scores
I have exclusively used the Earth's Best wipes for three years, but recently learned they had changed their formulation to a subpar, terrible, terrible wipe (I was late to the party thanks to my large supply of the original wipes which had finally run out). I saw another reviewer mention these Amazon wipes as an alternative and was surprised to see Amazon had their own brand, and honestly was not very optimistic about them because I was judging them as a generic knockoff. However, I recently received my shipment and was pleasantly surprised.These wipes are very soft and moist. They are somewhat textured which makes them look thin in spots but still hardy enough to not tear or leak through, and they are standard sized (says 6.75 x 7.9 inches). So far, they do not irritate my or my children's skin. They are unscented but they have a very subtle fresh (aloe?) smell which reminds me of the original Earth's Best wipes smell. They are half as expensive as Earth's Best ($0.023 per Amazon wipe compared to average $0.044 per Earth's Best wipe). They come in individual soft packs with a functional flip top, and so far the wipes come out one at a time and don't stick together. Overall the individual ingredients score fairly well on EWG Skin Deep, the individual ingredient scores are below, but since this product itself is not yet in their database I would estimate the overall score would be maybe a 2 or 3.
