Was better than advertised. Battery and hardrive cover came with this order. Ad stated they were removed or missing. System works fine well after instaling a Msats SSD and Seagate mech drive. Windows 10 activated from machine serial number.

My wife needed a laptop replacement. The center rotating pivet is not the best design, The computer is slow by today's standards and the touch screen is not as sensitive as I think it should be. It doesn't indicate use and whether it is booting up. There are much better computers available at about the same price. May not consider Levono again.

Awesome little ultrabook for business or school, touchscreen works well for the most part, however it can be unresponsive at times. Also, I'd like to point out that you cannot press more than 3(letter) keys on the keyboard, or use the keyboard and touch-pad at the same time, which isn't a huge deal because this laptop wasn't really built for gaming. Speaking of the keyboard, the thing is a dream to type on. Never before have I typed on keys so smooth, so easily pressed, so quiet even. Before I mentioned the keys and touch-pad cannot be used at the same time, I still have yet to try using the keys and a mouse at the same time. One last note on the keyboard, the fn key is where ctrl usually is; not a huge deal, but takes getting used to. As for the speed, it's honestly pretty good, the turbo boost kicks in often pushing it up to about 2.4-5 GHz. That plus the 24GB SDD already built in gives it a nice 3 second boot-up time (love it). Lightweight (3.48lbs.), but with that comes a cost, that being low battery life. If you're doing light things like browsing/typing you can see anywhere up to 5 hours of battery. Videos maybe 3-4; gaming of some kind, better have the charger nearby because I wouldn't expect more than 2-2.5 hours. I originally bought this because it could transform into a tablet; don't let this be a deciding factor in your purchase. I thought that using the touchscreen in laptop mode would be awkward/clunky, but boy was I wrong! It's actually quite handy when you need to just reach out and click on something quickly and not awkward at all. I even prefer it like this as it's a bit to heavy to be a tablet unless you rest it on something e.g. chest, stomach, desk, etc. Note that there's not a CD drive so you'll need an external to install certain things (or download the drivers off a website instead) and there are only two USB ports. Additionally, instead of a headset jack and a microphone jack, there's only a "headset jack." The only headset type headphones I've seen with only one plug-in are the ones that go into my iphone; headsets I've bought in the past all have two plug-ins :S Not a huge fan of a lot of things about windows 8, but they're all more than fixable and I won't take the review down on that like many others do instead of actually reviewing the machine. I know I've mainly focused on the bad things about this, but it's still an exceptional product and if you can get past the things I've mentioned then definitely buy this laptop.Read full review
You wrote on the ad that it was a great machine, and it is. It arrived nicely padded with no problems. You said the battery was kaput and it is, but I am using it on my desk, attached via mini-HDMI, and do not need a battery. I am having a great time loading it up with programs and making it personal and my own. I am delighted with this computer. It is exactly what I needed and wanted. Thank you

I have been a Thinkpad user since the early 90's and have been very satisfied with form, function and quality. The Twist has rapidly become my favorite laptop to date. The portability and light weight coupled with performance equal to an I7 desktop have increased my productivity and enjoyment to a whole new level. The utility of a touch screen is much handier than I thought it would be and have found it much easier to review documents and contracts than ever before. Easy to convert into a tablet which allowed me to eliminate my work tablet. I was really surprised at the performance of this unit. Even with the hybrid 500GB and 24GB SSD, it boots as fast as coworkers laptops with pure SSD storage and outperforms most using Office Suite applications. This will be my laptop and work tablet for the coming years. The only thing I have found that should be changed is the power button location on the bottom right edge of the screen. I find that I sometimes accidentally press it when picking the laptop up from the desk which puts the unit into lock screen mode and I have to go through the password screen. It has the option to disable that button, which is an option. The perfect unit for a traveling professional.Read full review
