All the Weather info at your fingertips
Product works perfectly as designed giving you all the weather info you need. The only drawback in this design is that the PC must remain on (override sleep mode with their software) to use the phone or tablet to remotely monitor the weather info. The override can be switched on or off with their software, but that is the reason for the 4 stars and not 5.

I had an Oregon Scientific weather station for nearly 5 years and it NEVER gave me an ounce of problem until it got broken in a high wind - and, again, that was after 5 years of continual use without a glitch. I've had this AcuRite Personal Weather Station for only about 4 weeks and the main '5-in-1' sensor that is outside has quit communicating to the base no less than 5 times making me reset the computer that's hooked to it streaming data to Weather Underground. For that matter, the AcuLink software that you have to download for the weather station has stopped - - by itself, unsolicited by a Windows update reset - - no less than 3 times, requiring me to reset the PC. When I had the Oregon Scientific model, I NEVER HAD TO RESET IT OR HAVE IT GO DEAD IN 5 YEARS..! But let's not get wrapped around the axle on that - - I called AcuRite and told them I was having issues with their weather station and they told me - - and get this - - that they WOULD NOT WARRANTY AN ACURITE STATION BOUGHT OFF OF EBAY!!! So, if you buy your station off of EBay, DON'T EXPECT ACURITE TO EVEN LET YOU EXCHANGE IT. That has to be taken up with who you bought it from..!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT..? Great weather station
I have only had this installed since about 3-1-2016... very easy to install and works great. The only problem I have run into is the rain gauge is toggled when the wind is very strong 40 to 50 mph.. I am going to call the co. and see if there is a fix.

Works well...beware no Blue Tooth or WiFi capability
Love this weather station however I find the "mobile" phone app misleading. Yes, you can access your weather data from your phone BUT (and this is a big BUT) you must have a PC connected to the panel with a USB cable. Not exactly convenient when your weather panel is hanging on your wall. AcuRite would do well to add WiFi to future models as the necessity for a dinosaur USB cable connection to a PC negates the phone app capability in most cases. Unless, of course, you wish to hang your PC on the wall alongside your weather panel. Come on, AcuRite.
