I am amazed how low in price this type of product could go and yet, it is functional. Out of box, 22 units worked well, two of them did not. After opening the battery compartment, fixing the loose wires, both units now work. The top of the unit has only small area covered with PV, so it provides only small amount of energy during the day. I assume it would still work well if I have it all-day at sunny area. Charging in mostly shaded area is lean, the lights will shine only a couple of hours after the dusk at best. I have another product with larger area of PV and it remains lit much longer. But then it is also more expensive. Before you install it into the ground, make sure to glue the tips into the barrel, otherwise next time you want to take it out, the tip will remain in the ground.

The lights don't hold enough power from the Sun to keep lit till the morning Darkness I live in New England and it's between 6 and 7 in the morning it's still dark and the lights are out because it ran out of solar power too bad I like the lights out of otherwise

I wanted some solar-charged small lights to use in place of candles for power outages. The ON/OFF switch makes them perfect for that use. Can't comment on their longevity, yet. But so far, so good. Delivery was quick and as promised.

The fluted design in the light enclosure makes a great light pattern on my walkway! Compared to the expensive/bulky lights you would buy at the box store these are a great buy. At this price point this is the best choice in solar garden lighting. -JWM
