This is the best of every series (season) of THE OFFICE from either England or the US. This English version is superior and this series is the best of all. It is a must have. I believe Ricky Gervais is the first Brittish actor to win a Golden Globe Award for best leading male role in a comedy series. He co-wrote and produced the show and he is absolutley terrific as the self absorbed boos David Brent.

This original Brit version of THE OFFICE by Ricky Gervais is one of the all-time comic masterpieces of TV. Unbelievable spot-on writing, acting, casting and production. You can't help but empathize with this boss-from-hell and his office underlings. This makes the U.S. version look like it was written by chimpanzees. PREDICTION: you won't be able to watch the U.S. version after you see this series.
