Satellite radio has grown increasingly popular over the years for the many options for listening to commercial-free music, sports, news and information, and entertainment channels. Upgrade your car radio to the Audiovox XMCK10 for XM Car Satellite Radio Receiver to enjoy the benefits of satellite radio, and enhance the entertainment options in your vehicle. This model provides everything you need to bring the power of XM satellite radio to your car. A kit is included to make installing the unit easy, and additional accessories are available. The Audiovox XM Radio is a universal design unit that offers clear transmissions and exceptional sound quality that surpasses the audio from traditional car radios. The internal wireless FM transmitter allows you to play satellite radio to any audio device with an FM radio receiver with no need for a hardware connection. The Xpress XM7 tuner has a 3.5mm mini stereo audio input and output jacks and a built-in RF SMB connector for accessories, such as an external antenna. The LCD display unit on the Audiovox satellite radio receiver gets dimmer or brighter with the surrounding light at various times of day or night. This allows you to easily read the numbers on the unit during the day and at night. The Audiovox XM satellite radio is equipped with useful features and accessories that include an alarm clock and a one-touch add channel button, making it easier to change presets on the Xpress tuner. You have the option of setting the unit to turn on and off with the power, or to use the sleep timer to set times between 15 minutes and 3 hours. The receiver features a display button, search, menu button, rotary knob, memory, preset, jump, power button, and 10 numbered presets. The presets allow you to enter your favorite radio stations and use the buttons to select a station quickly. The display button enables you to choose to display the artist, song, or title. The memory function enables you to store up to 20 song, title, and artist combinations so you can listen later. In addition, a stock ticker allows you to monitor the performance of up to 20 stocks. You can select a variety of entertainment options with this receiver in addition to satellite radio. The docking station contains an auxiliary audio input so you can connect an MP3 player or other portable electronics. Enter the music you want to play, select songs that are saved on your device, or watch video content through your device for entertainment that is tailored to your needs. The Audiovox XM radio receiver comes with a kit that includes a swivel bracket that is used to mount the docking station and a 12-volt to 5-volt DC power adapter. Use the adapter to plug in the receiver. A magnetic roof mount antenna is included to attach to your vehicle that will produce a strong signal. The manufacturer uses the smallest available antenna for a low profile look. The Audiovox XM satellite radio comes with an IR remote control. You can use the remote control to operate the unit without taking your eyes off the road. The remote control offers most of the same buttons and features as those found on the receiver, so switching between the display unit buttons and remote control is easy.

    The Best XM radio, Durable, easy to program

    I have been an XM Subscriber for over 10+ years and have had this particular Unit for 9 years (It's turned on, on average for 8 hours a day),and is transferred daily between my truck and used in the house in an XM Boom Box, and I think this is the best Unit they ever had for a few reasons. It has a 5 line display (the only one) and it's music title line will scroll, the 5th line (scrolls) you can put in the stock ticker name and keep track on how much your loosing, or sport teams and keep track of scores.. Direct channel input or turn the Dial..There is 75 commercial free Music channels,1 commercial WXIX Nashville,PBS,about 200+ sport channels, and channels in Spanish, french, Asian, Canadian, BBC, and another 300+ ONLINE Channels (Different Packages).. I Only have 1 Complaint about them, ...

    Highly recommended, just expands the use of the XM Serris radio

    This is a high quality Receiver for the XM I have in my car. Sound and base is excellent. You have the choice to use the built-in antenna which cuts in and out if not in the right location like the window, etc. or you could use the remote one like the one that comes with the automobile. Although it takes 8 c size batteries, it's nice to know you can take it anywhere. There is an available transformer so you can save on batteries. Highly recommended.

    good features, quality service.

    it is overall good and is very easy to use and functions well, but the screen and inferface is kind of out-of-date. it is very plain. a color or more lively screen would have been nice, but overall the product does what is meant to do and works well.

    Simple, easy to install and use

    Great XM reciever. I bought this one to replace the one in my truck which was over 5 years old. It survived 16 hour days of riding in a semi that long, so it must be tough. No fancy color screens or moving images to distract you. It's simple to install, simple to use. I had to pay a $15 charge to XM to change service from my old radio to this one, which I think is a rip off. You'd think they made enough off of the subscriptions. One call did it after I actually got to talk to a English speaking human!

    Audiovox xmck10 satellite radio receiver

    I bought the xm radio receiver to replace one that had got hit by lighting. This is a great unit for the money. The old one was used in a machine shop for two years, nearly 24/7. When and if this one goes bad I'll buy another as soon as possible. There is no replacing satellite radio. Once you have it regular radio will drive you nuts.
