This is a great iron, Rowenta is a product I have trusted over the years. I have read some bad reviews related to the steam function of the iron, saying that the water stained the cloth, however if you read the instructions you must adjust the water type to your local water. For example, I live in central Florida and our water is somewhat hard, so we do a 50/50 mix of tap water and distilled. In my old Rowenta I used 100% distilled but that no longer works with this product.

This iron does not have auto turn off which is great for quilters who use the iron often. It heats quickly and has 2 steam features. The point is longer than usual irons which makes pressing a breeze. Love this iron.

Rowenta Irons are a bit more for a reason because you get what you pay for. This iron gets hot fast with great steam and a high hole count on the plate. The self cleaning is great and it keeps you out of the dry cleaners for clothes that you would normally have to press often. This is the best iron I have ever owned and I do not plan on going to another brand.

My friend brought her Rowena iron to our quilting group. It was my turn to iron the material, after ironing with this iron for 5 minutes I just had to have one. It heats quickly, guides smoothly over the material, removes wrinkles magically. I love it!

I originally bought this because my girlfriend has an older one and it works great. This iron heats up super fast, stays on and steams great! I'm a quilter and really love the way this iron heats & steams.
