It's my fault for not reading the fine print, it's a 2:00 amp hour battery, it looks exactly like the 4:00 amp hour battery. It would be nice if to amp hours was clearly posted next to the picture of the battery. Because this was $17 and twice the capacity is $24. I would not have ordered the 2:00 amp hour battery. otherwise battery works just fine. Looks reasonable quality.

I cannot pull the trigger of the drill to full right away as the drill only runs for a quick millisecond then stops. I thought the battery was not charged but put it back on the charger and it was fully charged. If I pull the trigger slowly to power the drill I can then get to full speed and it keeps running. It's a hassle

I've had two of these. They're easy to use, but what good is that when it doesn't work after only two charges. Hitachi used to be reliable, professional grade equipment, but not these days, and as a professional, reliability is very important! I now have a pair of book ends.
