Ugh. Another kitchen gadget that I will never use? Certainly not! My daughter is a pineapple fanatic and brings home at least one every time she goes grocery shopping. On a whim I bought this item because I got tired of fighting over who' s job it is to cut the pineapple. (which it always seemed to fall on me) I ordered the item and decided to give it a shot. I was amazed at how easy it was and the time that I saved using this kitchen gadget. I will recommend this product to those who love fresh pineapple. (I believe it cut the time it takes to slice a pineapple by 10 minutes easy). A must have for any kitchen.

The pineapple corer isn't very easy to use. The entire time I was working it through the middle of the pineapple the juice was going everywhere, My hands were sticky and wet and It takes a strong hand to keep it going, and the core was almost impossible for me to remove from the plastic shaft. I ended up having to pound it through. it is made of plastic and I think a stainless steel one would be easier to use. This is only my opinion.

I have had this pineapple slicer for almost three months and I have to say it was well worth it. It easily core, peels and slices pineapple in one single operation. It creates evenly sliced pineapples and gets the most out of a pineapple leaving the core and the husk. I highly recommend buying this product and it is also dishwasher safe.
