This system was on sale and had every feature except wind direction which I have discovered is the main point of failure of the three other weather stations I have owned. Other than having to periodically change the batteries there are no other downsides to this unit and I made sure to mount it so I could easily drop the mast for that task.

Good weather station for secondary use or as a back up for your primary station. Acu-Rite products are very well made and durable. When properly installed they are very accurate. Main distraction of this unit it does not have the rain gauge/Hr. rate that my primary does. Other than that a good unit for the money.
