One of the original XM receivers. This model does NOT have the internal FM modulator, BUT there is one built into the auto power adaptor. If used in home,, simple audio cable connects to your own amp or stereo system via an AUX input. Simple to program, Easy to preview other channels. I prefer the cable news channels, OldTime Radio or my genre of favorite music on the road. At home I connect to my stero system and am lulled to sleep by the beautiful music of the Escape channel.
Now that I finally got the power outlet in the car repaired, I have XM radio! I wasn't sure how well it would work, but it's great! Quite a few plugs and wires doesn't make it terribly portable, but it is better than the crappy radio in most older vehicles. I'm just looking for the boombox and I can get all that I am paying for out of my XM radio.
It is small, great for both at home use and mobile use. Great remote and FM transmitter.

The radio is small and compact. It does not have some of the features of the larger radios but thats not what I was after. I just wanted something that mounted out of the way. I just use it to listen to college football games.
Not bad for 15 bucks.Bought for motorcycle works great. The cassette adapter has good sound when using it.
