The mic is ok Little muddy for me & feeds back, picks up instrument noise & can hardly hear myself at times. better have a serious set of pipes & a professional sound tech for hard rock/ metal or you will struggle, great construction, good looking mic. & with the stand & XLR cord included it makes this an excellent deal for the money I paid.

Quality and work as advertise. It's a Shure brand, cannot go wrong.

The realistic price for these sets would be $350. I got this at the auction for $180. probably the best score I've gotten on e-Bay, period. The little PG 58 needed some love, but still works. I keep looking for a similar deal.

I have been using the SHURE PG58 for years. it's a good mic, but I wanted to upgrade. The PG58 picks up cable noise, so if you touch the cable, the mic picks it up. The SM58 has very clean sound and does not pick up cable noise, which is great if you're using it hand-held. Great price and the fact that it came with a really good stand and an XLR cable makes it an excellent deal.
