To begin with, years ago KODAK stopped making these frames and reduced its support to a very antiquated website thatt barely enables you to communicate with the frame. The BIG problem is that these Kodak Pulse frames (7 and 10 in) use JAVA to create an interface that enables you to communicate with the frame and upload photos. But you must keep in mind that: (1) Chrome no longer supports JAVA as of mid 2016, so you CANNOT upload or communicate with the Kodak Pulse frames using Google Chrome! (2) The same is true of Internet Explorer and Opera (3) JAVA still works on Firefox but it will be discontinued at the end of 2016! (4) JAVA support on MAC OS X is good for now, but there are also plans for it to be discontinued. Without active JAVA web browser support these Kodak Pulse frames are nothing but shiny paperweights. Oh yes, you can always load photos with a memory card or USB stick but you can forget about using the internet to email photos to these frames or managing their content on the net using common browsers.Read full review

Frame is easy to set up and run but a little quirky when photos are downloaded. On my first try it downloaded quickly, then kept freezing. Turned it on the next day and all photos came in. Picture quality is pretty good and there are a number of on-screen options such as rotating so that all pictures are displayed correctly. You can also choose the method by which photos appear and of course the best feature is that photos can be e-mailed to the frame which is very cool.
Bought this frame to replace another frame. Easy set up. You can load pictures on it or have it pull pictures from your Facebook account. It really has to be connected to the internet for it to work. The only cons are one the power plug, plugs into the bottom and its a bit to long. It raises the side up because of it. Also not much control from the frame. It will not play video or display calender, weather or other info. Its connected to the internet could do more.
I bought this because my mom, my grandmother and my aunt have one and it's GREAT. I can send them pics from anywhere. I use either my phone or the internet. It's also nice if you don't have a lot of space but would like to display multiple pictures. I don't want to put a bunch of pics on the walls so I'll upload into the frame and be able to show off all of my pics. It's really easy to use. I've never used another brand so I have no idea how it stacks up to others, but I know I like this one enough to give it a two thumbs up!
With or without the WiFi, I love this frame. I have two of them. It's compact so it is great for small areas. It's hard to find a small digital picture frame this size. The picture clarity is incredible. It also holds a lot of pictures. My only complaint is that the pictures are randomly shown and I wish there was an option to set so each picture would show one after another exactly as they are placed on the frame or memory chip as some pictures never seem to come up to view. It's a shame Kodak doesn't make it without the WiFi so it could be sold at a more reasonable price for those who have don't have any interest in e-mailing pictures to people. Shop smart. I don't feel the frame is worth $200-$300+ though.
