The brightness and magnification isn’t as good as my Leupold 3-9x40 VX -1 but at a 1/3 of the price can’t argue. The Reticle will take a little bit to get use to but overall it’s a good scope for the rifle I have it on.

I paid over $400 on a Burris scope for my varmint rifle and haad nothing but problems with it. A couple of seasons ago and the darn thing would not hold zero so I bought the Bushnell Banner 4-10 scope and it held up great. never varied. Since I moved the 4-10 to my 308, a 3-9 on my AR Varmint gun and a 3-9 on my 45/70. I will not waist the money on a higher dollar scope.

This is my 2nd Bushnell Banner. The 1st one is still going strong on a 20 gauge slug gun 15 years later. Clear, easy to adjust, and stout. This one looks better than the 1st one and will be going on my son’s slug gun. Plus, if it breaks, Bushnell stands behind their products. Add in a $30 rebate from Bushnell right now till 6/30, and you can’t go wrong.

Have two of these scopes. My 10 yr old son has an encore 243 and I have one on a mini 30. The circle reticle gives rapid sight acquisition for kids, and helps me with hog hunting in thicket cover. I've found it reliable for these needs. It's not a Swarovski or Schmidt and bender but does well for these applications.

I put this on my Remington 783 in 30.06 and took it out to zero yesterday. Adjustments were easy and zeroed at 100 yards quickly. Then I stretched it out to 600 yards. 9 power magnification with this type of reticle on a budget rifle is not at all ideal for that distance, but I got some repeated hits as long as the barrel was cool enough. Returned to zero at 100 yards perfectly on the first try. I was impressed. Not meant for 600 yard shooting, but it's solid for a hunting rifle.
