I needed to replace an aging lineup of chainsaws on my farm and woodlot - Off to the Stihl dealer and purchase a MS260 and MS361 - take them working and the dogs are too small and short to grab, particularly when felling - I buy the optional kit from Stilh for the 361, no improvement - Investigate aftermarket and settle on Piltz - I am not disappointed, rather very happy - lower tooth grabs the tree when making the wedge cut to fell, makes the cut easy to control and accurate - same on the corresponding hinge cut, no having to manhandle the saw - Fit and finish is excellent - a quality product - Thank You!

Wow! Of course, a new chain might have made mo old B&D saw much better, but its chain tensioner was broken as was the blade oil cap. This was a good price, arrived quick, and does all I need around the house within the length of my extension cord. :)

This is a great saw. cuts really well both on and off pole. only thing needs changing is the clamps that hold the extensions. The little plastic handle breaks easy. tightened with a plyer and holds good. cut for 4 days and never missed a beat. has helped clean up property nicely.

At last, an electric chainsaw with a real oil pump for chain lubrication. Not one of those gravity-fed so-called "automatic" chain oiling system that are standard on other electric chainsaws. Now, I can concentrate on the job instead of fiddling with chain lubrication. I could go without the safety features that stop the chain automatically because I'm afraid they will affect the long-term durability of an otherwise good chainsaw. It is a powerfull chainsaw (15 amps) that can tackle big trunks with ease. However, it is a bit heavy and overkill for branches. So, I use my old Remington for branches and I use the Black & Decker for big trunks. I hope it will be more durable than my previous Remingtons. But that remains to be tested by........me.......
